And another thing…

When the band practices during the week preceding the parade, they gather a following. Kids on bikes, parents on bikes and on foot, several ppl park their cars along the way. There are approx 130 kids per band, 9-12 and 7&8. There are so many school sponsored sports and activities, kids have to choose. There are probably about 130 kids per grade, which would mean about half of them are in band for middle school, and about 1/4 once they get to hs, if you average out over the 4 yrs.

The parade was fun. It was too hot tho. 100 degrees. Kids got water along the way.

I can’t get cooled off. Our window AC unit runs and runs. My family is rehearsing for something they are going to perform in the park tomorrow. Thankfully the temp is predicted to be high of less than 90! I can’t wait! It is just miserable here. My lawn is getting scorched. I am fatigued from the heat.

I have things I would like to write about, but I am so hot I can’t really concentrate. Hope things are cooler where you are! Or at least you are finding relief from the heat!

God Bless!

faith hope and love, but the greatest of these is love.
