I’m Baaack….

Been very lax about getting on the computer and keeping up with everyone.  As of yet, I haven’t begun catching up on the postings for the last couple of weeks I have missed.  Nothing major going on, I’ve been working and the boys have been going to school.  Brad has been doing well, for the most part.  He’s stubbed his toe once, but came to me and admitted it before I found out on my own.  He is catching up in school and as of now is still scheduled to graduate at the end of next month.
Brian has been doing well also.  He went to see his birth family last weekend, his grandmother was in from El Salvadore.  She is getting older and doesn’t get to the U.S. as much as when he was younger.  He wants to go there to visit this summer.  I won’t say no, but not thrilled at the idea.
Last week on Friday I attended the funeral of my cousins’ husband.  Mary, my cousin and her husband had been together for 55 years when he passed away suddenly last week.  It was very sad.  Mary and Willie had kids my age and were constant fixtures in my growing up years.  I hated to see her looking so lost as she did.
Nothing to report right now other than the ordinary day to day and the frustration of not having any money.  That’s nothing new though, if money is my only problem, then I truly have no problems.  I am relishing the slow drudgery of the day to day without extra stress and drama that had begun to seem as though it would never end.  I dare to hope we’ve turned that corner and are finally moving forward here.
So, I’m getting off of here and taking supper out of the oven, and spending the rest of my evening watching television with the boys. Later
