False Baby Information

I was at a BBQ yesterday with all of my friends. Most of them are married and have kids or are starting their families. One is 25 and already has 3 kids, one is 26 and has one, the other just got married a year ago. So, the 26 year old (we’ll call her Mary) and the one who just got married a year ago (we’ll call her Sarah) are talking about babies. Mary says that she and her husband are trying to have another baby. She’s trying for a girl…which she thinks is possible to "pick out" by having sex on certain days of the month. I think its bull. She says that she can have sex and the "girl sperm" will stay in her body for a few days until she ovulates. She said she can feel them in her right now! Okay…we are in our late 20’s here…do we not know that if the sperm don’t find an egg pretty quick, they die. They don’t hang out all weekend just in case you’re ovulating. Weird.

So that was enough…but then "Sarah" said that on her wedding day, her bones were sticking out and she was so excited. The girl looks like a barbie doll. She’s tall, blonde, thin and goregous. She barely ate for like three months before her wedding. Apparently she was eating raspberries only. So she saw all her bones sticking out and was excited. Issues!

(I’m sure there was more of a point to this story, but I wrote it days ago and finished it today 9/20…not sure where I was going with it anymore!)
