She’s just got the most adorable face!!!! I love her already! I laughed about Kody going from depressed to annoyed. I’m sure they’ll end up getting a long…it will take a little time. And hopefully Bandit will be ok with her too. Welcome home Lucy!! You’ve got a great family. I miss Cookie too. :)) Thanks for sharing the cute pics!!

what a darling puppy! i hope everyone soon gets along and starts having fun with each other. i don’t think merlyn would do so good with a puppy around. he’s getting to be an old dog… almost 7 years old and he doesn’t do change very well. take care,

Ooh, yes she does look cute. I think no new animal ever fills the place of an old. They do sometimes keep you so damned busy that you wonder why brought them home though… and in that time, maybe the grief you feel is still left than the grief you may have felt, purely because you have no time to dwell. And the new guy will settle eventually and you will find peace again and never want tobe without them either…with fond memories of those who have gone before. But this you know already I think. Good luck with Bandit and Kody…I’m sure they’ll settle too, letting Lucy know her place.

It takes a while for everyone to adjust to the new kid. She is so adorable, I know you humans will be putty in her paws! You still miss the long time pet baby that is gone though.

She’s very cute .. even though I don’t think I’ve ever left you a note or anything.. I’m very happy to see you gave Lucy a chance. Pit mixes, especially black ones, are sometimes hard to place. (I work at a shelter in SC)

I’m so happy for you guys and your new puppy. She’s cute. We got our new pups within weeks of loosing our beloved senior chihuahua because we were devastated with the loss. They do help fill the void and take attention off of the saddness. It has been my experience that some people act weird because we didn’t mourn long enough in their minds- we all mourn in our own ways. I, or one- am very happy for you. She will be family in no time.
