I Hope You Voted!

I took an early lunch to vote and try to avoid the crowds. Although there was a bit of a line it moved quickly. Now it’s watch the news and the internet and hope my candidate gets in. I have never been political, but this year I watched all of the debates and read stuff on line and basically followed the election hysteria throughout.

I am still waiting to hear about the job. I called the recruiter on Monday and he assured me that I did well in the executive interview. Someone, who is part of the hiring process, has gone to another office and this office is in a turmoil, which is slowing things down. Always something!

Today the pond guys came to close the pond. It looks so winter out there. The little fishes sleep until sprint (not a bad deal). I could handle missing winter. We are getting a fish tank – not merely a fish tank but Linda is building it into a wall. I could have been happy with a stand. The rectangle is already cut out of the wall and she brought the tank home today; it’s 70 gallons – cool. I had a 33-gallon tank years ago and have always missed it. This is part of my Christmas gift (there was no way that it could have been a surprise to unwrap). Progress report and photos to follow!

I love aquariums!!! Years ago I had a 55 gallon and 2-20 gallon highs and I just loved watching the fish. My dream was always to have a tank of just angel fish but never got around to it…hugs!!!

Yup, voted. Yup, on my way to bed with a book and the TV to watch the results. LOL

I hope you get the job! 🙂 I love the pond you two have…I want one someday. New fishy friends are the greatest friends…hope you shop pics when it’s done.

yeah, sure nuff. voted at 8 am — had an all day meeting a bit away, so there wasn’t any chance of a midday trip to the polls, and I didn’t want to wait till the end of the day. we really had high hopes that virginia would go blue. not so sure right now (10 pm). sigh. as long as O wins it all, that’s okay, and it’s pretty well sealed at this point with Calif, Oreg and Wash state going to go for him later(another 80). peace and prosperity and justice to us all -Jude

Fish tanks are wonderful. We used to have discus and I’ve always missed them too.

Yep, we voted. Yea America !!! Doing a happy dance 🙂
