Great News [FINALLY]

I received a job offer this morning – whew! I was wondering if they were actually going to come through, although during the interview process, they told me how well I had interviewed and how they need someone with my experience. (This has been going on since September! They offered me the salary I asked for and negotiated 3 weeks vacation and benefits for me and Linda. My start date is Feb 16. Although the position is remote, I will be spending 3-weeks in Kentucky to get me started. This I could do without, but it is reasonable.

I am waiting for an official email and will then need a background check and drug screen done. YAY for sobriety! As soon as I receive the paperwork, I will call my current job and say, "bye-bye". I am actually hoping to wrap it up as of today and take some time to relax before starting.

Although I have been anxious, because of not being busy at work, this has been worth waiting for.
