First Cousin

Last evening I talked with my first cousin for the first time since Cliff and I got married in 1973. (She was at the reception and I did not even remember). Although we have been exchanging Christmas cards with notes, it was a call out of the blue. We talked for way over an hour. As a matter of fact, my phone’s battery crapped out and I called her back on my cell. She does not live too far from us and I invited her and her husband to our Halloween party. I enjoyed the call so much and we promised to keep in touch. Way COOL!

Fall is upon us and the leaves are falling way too quickly.

Soon the pond gets closed (mod November) and I say goodbye to the fish until the spring. Even now I don’t see much activity. They don’t come to the surface when I go to the appointed ‘feeding spot’.

It’s the time of year where the clouds look like the tide is rolling in.

Love the landscape pics.. your pets are sooo cute and wonderful.Look so well cared for too. how time flies,I remember you writing about the fish pond and the cold this time last year.. I too have being trying to reconnect with some of my cousins,but so far it isn’t happening and that could be more about the deaths in the family etc than their not wishing to reconnect,time will tell.Enjoy
