fin du siecle.

THURSDAY 31st MAY.
wandering mornings, scattering across cobblestones, boomerangs, bonsai –
it was nice, the world, even if it could have been better –
we pulled bread from a bin outside a padaria, little brown walnut rolls, and tonight Lidl for proper skipping – or at least I hope –
my lip still feels thick form the bash i got from the juggling club while acting the clown for the children yesterday, oh well kids and puppies and big kids entertained – the kiss between two beautiful women – the stares –
the funny coincedences – i dont know what the man said to me, at the supermarket, but it felt kind – now i am waiting for the rubbish to be put out at Lidl, it has already provided some nice salad which we had with the bread mountain – its funny, being back in Espinho, but I feel as though my Portuguese has gotten worse, and now I need to speak it – no luck with lodging at the Italians garage tonight, instead we sleep on the beach, thats cool with me, swim for breakfast, i forgot to get soy milk, i had way too much instant coffee for breakfast today, the dog is back at his post by the side of the supermarket, they feed him well, better than they feed the skipmonkeys, Oz has a sharpening stone and he runs his blade along it while sitting on the promenade –
nunca capitula – no surrender?

you re like a child with your bag of blocks
you keep building your world
then knocking it over
delightful temper.
