Found it!

I found my xmas party dress! 🙂

After a total odysee on Saturday I FIIIINALLY found the dress I am going to wear to the xmas party. The catsuit plan didn’t work out. I couldn’t find one in my size aaaaanywhere… 🙁 Frustrating. But anyway… I was looking around for hours really… walking up and down the shopping streets and couldn’t find anything I liked. I tried on one which was ok but I wasn’t blown away by it so I left it and continued searching. Either they were too short (and I mean ending midway down my ass short…) or they were too elaborate… sort of like ball gowns… I couldn’t find a nice evening dress anywhere… so eventually I went into this little dress shop I’ve always been walking by and never went in and I found two really nice dresses on sale. One in green which I liked and the other one in kinda purple and pink… the colours are sort of flowing together… it’s very nice. So I took that one cos I think the halterneck makes it look very elegant on me. So yeah it has a halterneck and it’s rather low cut so I cannot wear a bra with it. I first tried it on in a 10 (for my american readers i think that’s a 6) and it was fine but a little wide at the top so I chanced it and tried it on in an 8 (size 4 US?! )and it JUST fit! 🙂 So I cannot eat before the party lol. No but the 8 fit much better and kept my "girls" together so I don’t have to worry that they will pop out or anything. They are nicely held in place *grins*

In other news I spend the day (after I found my dress) with Dermot and it was REALLY nice. First we went for lunch and then to see "Men who stare at goats". Quite funny but not as good as the book. But I love Ewan so… *swoon* 🙂 Anyway we had a really nice time and I think something might come from it afterall…but I need more time…

In other news yet again…. there’s water leaking into my apartment AGAIN!!!!! I had the same shit a year ago. The pipes above my apartment are bust and so it’s dripping into my hallway (thankfully only the hall not my bedroom or something!)! I am so fed up that I sent my property agent a message (tried to ring him but only got his answering machine) that he needs to get this sorted and that I am thinking about moving out. And I am pretty sure I will. I am currently waiting on a phone call from an agent to see if I can view this two bedroom apartment across the way. It’s the same price as what I am currently paying for my two bedroom place!!!!! Grrrrr!!!! So hopefully it’s still available and I am hoping to be able to view it soon. There’s no picture of the kitchen with it so I am hoping it has a fridge/freezer cos some of the apartments only have a tiny fridge but I always freeze stuff so I need a big freezer…. sounds silly but it’s just something I insist on… like other people die without a dishwasher you know!?
