Addicted once more… and loving it… :)

I bought Dragon Age Origins. And I loooove it! I have a new colleague here in my department. Her name is Rachel and she’s awwwwesome! Hilarious and into games and comic books. I love her!!! 🙂

So she recommended Dragon Age and Mass Effect to me. So I first got both games on PC and started with Dragon Age Origins but it’s hopelessly lagging (baaad…) and I gave up. But on Saturday I went to the shop to get Wii Fit Plus (my ass and legs are getting huuuge) and I saw Dragon Age Origins for the PS3 so I got it and haven’t really stopped playing it since… it’s awesome!!! 🙂
Ok lots of news… first of all: My carpet smells of pee! Aaaargh!!! Did I mention that I hate carpets??? It was not me!!! I have no animal and I certainly didn’t pee on my carpet! It was there before but they had cleaned it but obviously not good enough… And the only real concern I had when I moved into this place was the carpet! Grrrr… now the smell actually started quite a few weeks ago already and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out where it came from. I washed all my bed clothes and everything (you never know… the ex had bad bladder problems… true… not that I honestly thought he peed in the bed… but… who knows…) but the smell was still there… so eventually I figured out it was the carpet and so I scrubbed it with hot vinegar water but the heat (of the water and the weather) just made it worse and it got really really disgusting… I am not going into details here but… baaaaad… so I finally ordered this Anti-cat-urin-spray and I sprayed loooads of it on the area… and it got better… although it still smells… so I ordered some more along with one of those UV lamps under which you can see old urine stains… (and sperm and blood etc)… so I am waiting for those to arrive in the coming days so that I can tackle the area properly… wish me luck people… and visualize me like CSI crime scene investigator hunting for pee LOL
Work has gotten much better. For anyone who read my last entry you know I had quite a tough time. I got great feedback from my manager and a really good review for my first quarter review (along with a bonus) and it’s all much better. This week I don’t have that much training so I have more time to get some paperwork and preparation done. That’s good. Also got greeeeat feedback on the training my boss was observing. So nothing to worry about there either. Great stuff.
I am still waking up early in the morning though… last night it was half 3 or something… no idea why this is. During the weekends I sleep fine… very odd.
Hmm what else… weekend before last I went out to Howth and it was brilliant. It was so nice to just sit at the harbour wall and gaze out at sea… so peaceful. And the air is just beautiful. I really missed it. Sea air… I miss Balbriggan. And I want to live in Howth now!!! But I will have to save loooooots of money before I will be able to afford that LOL.
Hmm… not sure what else to tell you… little magical things have happened but I am a bit too lazy to write them all down. 🙂 Sorry. Just imagine that a ring materialized for me out of nowhere and that I brought someone a gift even though I thought I didn’t…  actually that’s a cool story. I went to pay the Coaching course lady and I wanted to bring her a little gift to thank her for pointing me into the direction of Wayne Dyer but I couldn’t find what I wanted to bring and then I ran out of time. So I went there and after I paid we chatted again and I told her how much I love Wayne Dyer and I thanked her and told her I had downloaded these podcasts for real cheap and asked her if she knows http://www.audible.co.uk and she didn’t. Well since she has this thing for Audiobooks (just like me) she was delighted about it. So I did bring her a gift after all 🙂
