If you want to know who we are

I liked Angie’s idea about inviting readers to ask questions about things that it’s sort of surprising that they don’t already know. Those of you who know me only or primarily through Open Diary have a view into me which is in some senses rather intimate (you know things about me that I’d hate for the people around me to know), but it many senses very incomplete, because there’s a lot more to me than is practically described in these entries, especially when it is not my main intention to introduce myself to readers.

What don’t you know about me? What do you want to know? I’m happy to answer pretty much anything, within reason. I won’t post my address, my phone number, my real name, etc., although I’m happy to tell you those things privately if I trust you at least a little bit and you offer some reason why it’d be better for you to know. Beyond that, thought, no details are too sordid, I think.

I mentioned last time, I’m very, very busy right now, and don’t expect to return to much ODing until next week. So if this entry sits as my most recent one for several days, that’ll just give y’all time to come up with some good questions for me.

By the way, my answers entry will likely be Favorites-Only, but I’m very liberal in assigning authors “Favorites” status. If you read me regularly, let me know and I’ll add you. Or if you happen to come across this entry and find me fascinating and want to read more, let me know and I’ll add you.

Back to work.

I keep forgetting that it’s you, because your name is different and you haven’t been a favourite of mine for so long. *slaps forehead* But hi! Okay… questions… Where are you from in America? Do you like tiramisu? Do you speak any other languages? What colour is your hair? Is it curly, straight, wavy or spiky? I’m very … curious about random things. Like hair and desserts.

Oh, hmm. What role has being half Japanese played in your life and upbringing? When did you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior? Who is your favorite fictional detective? Do you ever miss having long hair? Did you used to be all socially conscious and OxFam-belonging, or is that new? What ever happened about that tattoo you were thinking of getting?

how did you get in the habit of nearly always opening the passenger door for a guest before your door? other than the time before you first heard any of them, what is the longest time between you hearing one G&S for the first time and you hearing another for the first time? why was it so long? when you played Claude, did you get to keep those very cool sunglasses? -s.
