The Road Less Traveled
The first phrase in the first chapter, "Life is difficult", caught my eyes.
When I was small, I worried about friendship and academic performance.
When I saw senior students, they were so beautiful that I hoped one day I would become one of them, have a good body shape, and enjoy their right and freedom
However, when I was senior, I didn’t want it anymore. I found that I must face cruel examination, struggle with heavy textbooks, and fight to enter university. I feel exhausted.
When I came of age, I was confused about love, career, and friendship.
What’s life? What’s love? How should I do in my life? Why do I feel so painful?
I keep asking me until I meet this book "The Road Less Traveled".
It is because life is a series of problems. We must be trained to have a discipline to solve life’s problem.
It is because the process of confronting and solving problems is a painful one.
It is because falling in love is not an act of will. It is not a conscious choice…….
It is because love is not just a feeling, it is action, activities..
That’s why no matter how open to or eager for it we may be, the experience may still elude us.
Contrarily, the experience may capture us at times when we are definitely not seeking it, when it is inconvenient or undesirable.
The key to the answers can be found in this book.
"Once we truly know that life is difficult —
once we truly understand and accept it —
then life is no longer difficult.
"We can choose how to respond to the experience of falling in love,
but we cannot choose the experience itself."
Hmmm… looks like a really inspiring book!

If you like this kind of book, you can try “If life is a game, these are the rules” too. It is a great book also. Btw, I would like to read the book you recommend as well.
