Spring

I like Spring.

This is the view from the balcony today.

I’ve been trying to, describe it all for a while now but the pictures do most of the telling.

 

What sort of angle is required for it to be panoramic?

 

 Trees in the distance only gained their leaves 3 days ago.

According to the camera the sky is white.

 

Look at those leaves!

 

Can you guess what my favourite colour is?

 

Does it help if I say blue is second?

 

London planes slowly regaining their leaves, they’ll look quite amazing in a month.

 

Maintained lawns and all that. I live in a planned ‘suburb’ I suppose you’d call it, which means the whole place is rather artificial but they’ve put it to good use in some ways, for instance they picked plants that blossom in Spring and that have a great deal of flowers, I counted to well over a thousand one day on a walk through the grounds, whole bushes turn white and pink, cherry blossom trees, chrysanthemums, jonquils, star jasmine, potato vine, peach blossom and plum blossom, the air is sweet for the first month of Spring as a result. If it’s going to be artificial anyway why not make at least one month of the year something special.
