Vacation Day 1

Well, today went really well. This is like the perfect time to travel, let me tell you! There’s like hardly anyone on the road. PA is usually a nightmare due to road construction too but it all seems to be done now. It was pleasant.

Sara has been really good so far, she was really excited when we actually got to the hotel though. She was getting really sick of being in the car.

She’s in her crate now, she seems a little weirded out but okay. I like this crate training thing, she has somewhere familar to sleep. Unlike us, we’re going to be sleeping in a bed smaller than what we’re used to tonight. We have a queen at home, this is like a full.

This hotel kind of sucks. That’s the only thing about booking online, some Howard Johnson’s are really nice but this one kind of sucks, I hate how a lot of hotels vary. We used to stay in Microtel, you can always count on it to be really nice and clean anywhere you go. Most of them don’t allow dogs though. The first thing that happened when we got here was when I went to take a shower. There was a spider crawling up the shower curtain!!!! The room is really small too, which kind of sucks when you have a HUGE dog crate. Anyway, At least we’re only here for one night and I KNOW the hotel in Tulsa is nice, we got a suite and it has a king sized bed and everything! 🙂

Anyway, I should get off of here and get some sleep. We’ll be heading out around 8am or so to go to IL. 🙂 At least we only have to drive for 5 hours tomorrow.

Anyway, we’re right on schedule and the trip has been great so far.

Now it’s time for me to get some sleep. 🙂
