They have eyes!!!!

Okay, so they’ve always had eyes, but the kittens eyes opened today!! They were closed this morning and when I came home from work and checked on them they had opened!!! The kittens have reached another milestone. 🙂

Sophie had also moved three of them on top of a tub piled with clothes. Not safe!! We took the clothes off to make the tub less tempting. If she insists on putting them up there I’ll have to pile lots and lots of blankets around in case any fall off! I’ll also be kitten-proofing the balcony this evening. There’s a gap under the railing a kitten could fall through all the way around. I’m going to cover that up so no one can fall when they start walking around more. I still haven’t figured out what I’m going to do about the stairs. I’ll need to make sure the cats can get up and down but not the kittens for a little while. *shrug* I’ll figure something out.
