Stuff

Not much going on. We desperately need to cut our grass but it keeps raining any time we can do it. It’s getting ridiculous.

This Saturday we’re doing a dog walk thing in another town. They’re building a dog park and the money raised by the walk is going towards the park. Hubby has gotten over $100.00 raised already and we still haven’t asked any of our neighbors or family members. Just work people so far. The new park will be nice, right now the closest dog park is about an hour away.

I found out today that one of the towns here in CT passed a law to fine all cat owners who’s cats aren’t spayed or neutered. You can get a special license to keep your pets unaltered but it costs money. Kind of like how licenses for unaltered dogs cost more. I’m interested to see if it has any impact on the overpopulation problem in that town. It has potential if it’s enforced.

Not much else going on. We got another flute player in band last week. She can’t remember how to play anymore though. She came in carrying a fingering chart, had to look up every fingering and kept asking questions about simple things, markings and such. Hopefully she’ll pick it back up fast. I hate to be mean but it just seems like you should learn to play again before you join a band. I do kind of keep hoping for more not so great flute players though. I’m itching to play first and will most likely be the one to move up if the 2nd flute section grows larger than the first. Right now we’re perfectly even. We have three concerts coming up, one in June, July & one in August. Outdoor stuff this time.

Anywho, I guess that’s it for now. I should probably go do some more laundry.

Okay, I need glasses. $100 is not the same as $100,000!
