Stuff

Thought I’d update a bit. Not a lot going on. I spent the day today doing homework and the funny thing is: I’m not in school. 🙂 Hubby is overloaded with homework so I’ve been helping him do it.

We did a tiny bit of shopping yesterday. Got some new toe rings, some glittery eyeliner and the new TOOL cd (which totally rocks).

I’m still enjoying band. Thursday I went early to help one of the directors set up the room. She sprained her wrist and sent an e-mail out begging for help. Me and one other person showed up to help. We moved to our summer rehearsal location this past week which totally sucks. During the winter we have a large bandroom to rehearse in, during the summer we have to move to a little tiny classroom at another school. It’s cramped and hot.

Our next concert is May 21st but I won’t be there. I have to go to a wedding. May is really busy this year. It’s seeming like it’s that way for everyone though.

I can’t decide what to get my mom for Mother’s Day. She is so friggin’ hard to shop for. Part of the problem is that she’s picky as hell. She doesn’t like to get things that just sit around the house. She hates flowers (who hates flowers anyway??? She’s cracked), and she doesn’t eat candy. I’m thinking about ordering a DVD copy of Jeff Dunhams newest DVD for her. I got one for myself the day it came out and it’s really good. He’s a really funny Ventriloquist, my mom and I both love him. We saw him live and stuff in Tulsa. That’s the only gift idea I can come up with.

Anyway, I should cut this short, it’s time to start getting ready for bed.
