Onion Survey, Part 1

UGH, There was a vote in our town yesterday to approve building a new high school, which is completely unnecessary. A mere 50% of our town bothered to show up to the fucking vote and it passed by 219 votes. Our $3,000.00 a year property taxes have officially gone up to $4,500.00. So basically our mortgage just went up $32.00 a month since we pay into an escrow account. We don’t make very much and I am FURIOUS! The amount of property taxes we pay is already ludicrious and now it’s even worse. I’m so pissed, in fact, that I would seriously consider moving out to somewhere like Woodstock, CT. It’d be a HELL of a lot quieter than living on the busy ass road we live on now. The only crappy thing is that we’d have to give up the house we worked so hard to get. *fume* I’ll get over it, eventually.

I stole this from FallingDog, I have nothing to write about other than the tax thing and I already wrote about that. 🙂 So, enjoy.

Your answers are great! And don’t even get me going on property taxes. Our town built a HUGE new high school with many unnecessary perks and my property taxes doubled. I now pay more property tax than my dad, who lives in a million dollar house in a pricy wooded subdivision. IT’S INSANE!!!!!!!!!
