Junk Drawers, Scrapbooking & Vacation

I cleaned out the junk drawer in the kitchen today. It had gotten to the point where it would get hard to open or close if anything in there had shifted. I threw a lot of what was in there out. Most of it was junk that had been put in there because “it might be of use someday”. I’m so over saving things for that reason. I mean, unless they REALLY, legitimately might be useful someday.

I found the purple and yellow yarn that was tied to Sara when we got her. I don’t think that’s the best thing for breeders to do to identify puppies but that’s what ours did. Anyway, it reminded me that I still need to make a Sara scrapbook. I still have some of her puppy teeth too in a film case somewhere. I should do that soon. I made one for the kittens already and we’ve had Sara longer.

Anyway, so hubby is off from work next week. It feels like it’s been an eternity since he was last off for that long. He’s so busy all the time that it’s hard for him to take any time off. I’m looking forward to the spring cleaning. I’m also looking forward to some just hanging out time with hubby, playing games, watching movies, stuff like that. We have the most fun just hangin’ out around the house together.

Anyway, I’m going to go for now. I don’t know how much I’ll be around for the next week. I’m sure I’ll have lots to share when I am back though. 🙂
