Home Again

I’m home and boy am I glad to be back. I got to see what hubby was working on while I was gone. He finished most of the upstairs hallway. It had never had urethane put on it so he did that and it looks fabulous!

Not a lot has happened since I’ve been back. We got pizza last night and talked for a few hours. Then we went to bed. I’ve been just kind of hanging out today. Did a little house-cleaning and stuff. I also talked to a recruiter about a job. I got a call about a job offer while I was on vacation, the job was basically data entry so I decided to apply. I got her the info she needed while I was away and hubby talked to her to get her additional information as well. A couple of days ago she called back saying the same place liked my resume. But due to my computer skills they were wanting me for another position, they want me to apply for a higher-paying job as an Administrative Assistant! I’m going to go for it. I’m supposed to hear back from the recruiter about when they want me to come in for an interview. I’m nervous and excited all at the same time. 🙂

Anyway, I have band tonight, I don’t know that I’m really in the mind-set or prepared to go but I need to. They’re passing out new music and if I’m not there I won’t get to pick my piccolo pieces, the other player will pick what she wants me to have instead. 🙂 So I’m going to go.

I kept a paper journal while I was visiting my family. I’ll be posting entries from that probably tomorrow. Due to the very personal nature of some of the entries they’ll be posted to Faves Only though.
