hmm…

I’ve been really dizzy, literally all morning. Luckily the spells aren’t as bad as some I’ve read about from other people. I mainly feel lightheaded and the room feels like it’s moving…slowly though. I can imagine if I did get motion sickness I’d probably be in bad shape.

I can’t focus on my work so I was doing a bit of research on my problem. A lot of people with this dizziness/tinnitus problem have found that magnesium supplements have alleviated most of their symptoms, including the tinnitus.

I used to take a calcium/magnesium supplement. A couple years ago I started having severe leg cramps and had tried everything from potassium to quinine, nothing seemed to help!! I was waking up literally, every night with leg cramps. Then I happened across some information that said a calcium/magnesium supplement had helped in cases of leg cramps that occurred at rest. I started taking the supplement and within a week or two I was having no more leg cramps. I just realized that the tinnitus started up not long after I went off the supplements. I haven’t had any problems with leg cramps but maybe…just maybe it’s a magnesium deficiency again. I don’t eat many foods that contain magnesium.

I’m going to try the supplements again, if, in two weeks, I haven’t noticed a change I’ll be calling the doc.

Wish me luck…I can only hope something this simple can fix me. 🙂

And now I should probably work. I think 3 OD entries in 3 and a half hours is quite enough. 🙂

I’m going backwards, here. Calcium/magnesium supplements need to be of a brand name or you risk getting trace contaminants. I once took a ca/mg supplement and had hives from head to toe. Right now, I take a Walgreen’s brand calcium supplement that has all the minerals in it that you need, including calcium. I take 1500mg of the calcium per day and have had no problems with it.
