Devil Cat

I swear Sophie was put on this earth to test my patience. I’m about out, let me tell you. I have a pretty short fuse to begin with, on any given day there’s at least a 50% chance that I’ll have a bug up my ass about something.

She’d been improving and then things started going downhill again on Saturday. At one point Saturday evening she just ran up behind me and dug her teeth into my right calf muscle.

She’s being really bad right now again. I just went downstairs a few minutes ago because I heard a kitten squealing, I found Sophie laying on top of Oliver biting his head.

I don’t know what to do with her sometimes. I’d lock her up but I can’t get my hands on her, she’s all teeth and claws. I guess I’ll just do my best to keep her off of her babies until she either fucks up and runs into a room with a door or hubby gets home.

We’re one big dysfunctional family.

The kittens have started climbing curtains, and I mean that literally. That and they’re all a bunch of little hoovers, they will try to eat anything and everything. Luckily they are getting better about chewing cords. We’re pretty much able to give them the run of the house when we’re home now, they mostly stay out of trouble, they’re all playing downstairs right now. We lock them up during the day and at night, and of course, they stay upstairs when Sara’s not crated, hehe. They want nothing to do with her!

Well, anyway, I think I’m going to go downstairs and grab a Barq’s and settle in for some Neverwinter. 🙂

G’Night!

That Sophie is just a brat, let me tell you. Good luck with her, Brandi — you’re going to need all the luck you can get. But if ANYONE can settle that cat down, you and hubby can, and I have faith in you two!
