Company Picnic & Stuff

Today was hubbys company picnic. It’s always so weird going since I used to work there and I know a lot of people. I didn’t see that many people that I used to actually talk to. Most of them aren’t really into these kinds of things. Which makes sense since I’m not all that into it either. I talked to the first boss I had there for a minute and met his wife. Didn’t see my second boss there. The last boss I had (the asshole and reason I quit) waved to me. As tempting as it was to shoot him the finger I politely smiled and waved back. Luckily he didn’t come over.

I guess we stayed there around 4 hours. Long enough to eat, chat with a few people, drink really bad (cheap and nearly warm) beer, have ice cream and leave.

We stopped off in Hartford and saw hubbys grandpa in the hospital. He’s looking a lot better and should be able to go home soon. Well, I say home, he’ll be staying with family so it’s home but not.

On the way home from there we had to stop at the bank. It was pouring down rain and on our way out of the bank this little old lady stopped us. She wanted a ride over to the hair salon in the next plaza over. Apparently she’d walked over to the bank just before it started pouring. She was obviously harmless so we gave her a ride. The only downside was I had to sit in the back with the tons of dog hair. I had sunscreen on cuz it was sunny earlier & that plus the rain made my skin sticky so I got dog hair all stuck to my arms and legs. 🙂

Anyway, I think it’s time to go play some Neverwinter. 🙂
