Well, I have no kitten pictures tonight. Sadly, it seems like our digital camera is out of commission. I don’t know if it’s permanent or not but we’ll see, it’s done something similar before, but only for a couple of minutes. If our digital camera is broken I’m going to be pretty pissed. We paid too much for that thing for it to be broken after a mere three years. It’s a Sony Mavica too, not like it’s some no-name piece of shit. No offense to anyone with a no-name camera. *innocent grin* It sucks because there’s no way we can buy a new camera before our trip either. I don’t know if I can live without my instant pictures while we’re on a road trip!!! *pout*

We spent most of the weekend cleaning. Someone was supposed to come over today to meet the kittens. She didn’t show though, she was supposed to be here at noon but when 12:30 rolled around we realized it might be a good idea to check our voice mail. Heh, she had called to cancel at 7:30pm last night. We didn’t hear the phone. She was sick, so she has to reschedule. We decided to go to Target, we needed a new “True Air” filter. I also wanted to pick up some new pajamas. My current pajamas are. I needed new one’s for our trip, who wants to walk around hotels in dingy pajamas?? And hey, you always end up in the hallway at least once in your pajamas, you’re bound to get thirsty, and the snack machine’s are always by the elevators, where you always manage to run into other guests! I bought pajamas that should never look dingy, grey and black. You can’t go wrong with grey and black. 🙂

Anyway, after we got back from Target we sat in the room with the kittens for awhile again and noticed they’re starting to use the litter box!! Kitten 5 had gone just outside the litter box earlier in the day, so we feared they had learned to go there instead. But no, Kitten 4 got in the litter box, went, and then carefully covered it up. Kitten 5 decided to go again and hubby put him into the litter box, where he proceeded to go, not cover it up, then flung litter out all over the place when he jumped out. lol I was really happy to see them using it. We bought new litter, I found a clumping litter that’s safe to use around kittens so we switched from our non-clumping cedar litter to “World’s Best” brand corn cob clumping litter. This stuff is highly recommended by every cat magazine I’ve ever read. I like it so far.

Also, hubby and I talked about it and we’re keeping one of the kittens. We both want to, for a lot of different reasons. So we are. This will complete our household. We’re not taking in any more cats from anyone, I’m not opposed to helping people find homes but this is the last one we’re actually keeping. One of my dreams is to someday have a cat shelter, but for now, that’s not even something I can think about. 🙂

I’ve been trying to buy healthier foods again, I’d really like to lose some weight, that and the easiest way to boycott proctor and gamble is to buy organic. I swear proctor and gamble owns everything. But you know what, that’s fine with me; this way is healthier anyway. In addition I’ve been trying to eat less animal products in general. We’re switching over to as much meatless, non-dairy stuff as we absolutely can without going insane. Vegetarian butter is quite tasty; vegetarian Parmesan cheese isn’t bad either. 🙂

We watched Anger Management tonight. That was quite an amusing movie. I’m going to have to check Amazon.com to see if they have any copies of Sixth Sense, I want to see that movie again. I also want to see if they have a copy of West Side Story, as silly as that sounds, my hubby has never seen it and would like to. He feels like he’s missing out since there’s so many West Side Story references in movies and stuff.

Anyway, I feel like I’m rambling so I’m going to stop now.

West Side Story is one of my all-time fave movies. And I loved The Sixth Sense, too. Honey, you already have a cat shelter! LOL!
