*frown* I just lost my OD entry. Not OD’s fault though, I’m using hubbys laptop and it sucks. It just sponaneously rebooted on me. I lost an e-mail to my mom 3 times the other day before I finally gave up and went into the other room to use my desktop machine. note to self: Save often

Anyway, I’m home today. I’m sick. What I don’t get is why the hell do I get sick on Fridays so often? Seems like 9 times out of 10 I get sick on fridays so that my weekend is ruined!! *whine* So there goes my weekend.

I woke up at midnight last night feeling miserable and I couldn’t breathe through my nose and stuff. I put some nose drops in and woke up again around 2am, at least I could breathe now but still didn’t feel too great. 5am the alarm went off and I decided there was no way I was going to work so I got up and e-mailed my boss.

I had planned to stay home today anyway because I have nothing to do and my boss is still at meetings. But feeling like crap and sleeping most of the day weren’t exactly what I had in mind.

I got a package in the mail today of stuff I had ordered. The thing I was most looking forward too though is on back-order! *whine* I got a neat blue butter dish and salt and pepper shakers, they look nice in the dining room and that’s why I ordered them, I also got a bin made out of cloth, it’s covered in kittys 🙂 I had orginially planned to use it for magazine’s like the advertisement showed but when I opened it up the instructions said “Pet Toy Bin”. So it was actually intended to hold pet toys!! Well, the cats already have a wooden chest for their toys so I decided to use it for Sara’s toys! I put it together then picked up all Sara’s toys and put them inside. Now we can teach her to put her toys away. 🙂 hehe

I’m hoping to feel good enough tomorrow to go out and get that toy for Sara, I really want her to have it and I’m afraid they’ll sell out or something, there weren’t that many. I’m also excited about the hamster getting a new cage. I’m also kinda hoping to go out to one of my favorite mexican places for dinner after hubbys class. *sigh* Then Sunday I wanted to get some cleaning done on the house cuz hubby is probably going to need to mow. I’ve got to “kitten-proof” the WHOLE house and in another 2 weeks we’ll be having guests over to pick out kittens and stuff so I don’t want to have to rush around picking up like we normally do!

Part of the reason we don’t allow spontaneous visitors is because 90% of the time our house is so messy it’s embarrassing. (The other reason is that unexpected guests are too stressful for me socially). I’ve never been good at keep our house clean. I couldn’t even keep my room clean as a kid, you have no idea how many weeks I spent “grounded till my room was clean”. I was grounded for damn near a year when I was really little. My mom said I was “grounded until I cleaned my room”, well, the thing was, I didn’t care about watching TV, going outside, playing with friends, or having kids over. I generally just sat in my room anyway. I spent hours and hours lining up and organizing crayons and cutting up magazine’s. I had everything I needed right there in my messy room. That hasn’t changed I still have everything I need right here in my messy house, the only thing that has changed is that I understand other people may look down on me for it. 🙂

Anyway, I’m tired again. It’s almost three so I’m going to check on work again and go sit with Sophie and her babies. At least I can’t give the kittens my cold (I even double checked). 🙂

My house is never clean. Ever. It will be when you guys get here, but I am far too lazy or too busy or something to keep it clean. Plus, as you know, having pets makes having a spotless house impossible. Oh well — who cares. People who spend too much time cleaning their houses have issues, if you ask me! 😉
