Sophie’s kinda making me crazy. She won’t stay with her babies if we go downstairs. She stays down there with us. I have a feeling we’re going to be spending a lot of time in our room upstairs for the next three weeks. 🙂

If it’s been too long since she’s been in there with them I discovered I can reach in and pet one. That disturbs it and makes it cry and then they all start crying and Sophie comes running. Not only does she need to feed and lick them but it’s also her job to keep them nice and warm. We’re keeping the A/C off in there too for the most part to make up for Sophie not hanging around as much as she should be. I think she’s getting bored laying around in there. She’s only ten months old.

We made an appointment with the vet. One of the kittens has a deformed tail, it doesn’t really have one, just a stump that’s missing some skin. We’re going to call again in the morning and talk to the vet before we drag them all to the vet (it’s best to keep them together regardless so if one goes, they all go, with Sophie too). If there’s nothing they can do yet there’s no point in going really. It doesn’t seem to be affecting the kitten much so I’m not too concerned. But I definitely want to get it checked out.

Anyway, not much else for news.

I did finish that communication course thing. It sucked. I didn’t really learn anything from it. The course description wasn’t very good. I managed to finish most of it by just taking the test at the end and skipping over the lessons. It was that easy, mostly just common sence stuff really.

I went back to the “technology based” one’s instead of the interpersonal skills ones. I might take one on Assertiveness though, I don’t know, if it’s as cheesy as the communication one it’ll be a waste of time. I have a year free on these though so it’s probably best to get through as many as possible. Next April they start costing my boss $75.00 a peice. I want to get to some on Microsoft Access. I mentioned to my boss that I’ve used it and she perked up. heh, it’s been awhile though and I could use a refresher.

CMS is back up and running though so it’s back to normal work on Tuesday.

Anywho, I think hubby is going to want to use the laptop soon so I’m out.
