Well, it’s Monday again. *sigh* Even long weekends never seem long enough. It wasn’t the best of weekends. We did go on a fun spending spree on Saturday. It’s been so long since we just went shopping and bought things. We get paid every 2 weeks and usually get paid twice per month. This month though we got paid 3 times!! I paid off a bunch of stuff including one of my credit cards and our vehicle property taxes and we still had some extra money so we went shopping. 🙂 We replaced our comforter, not only was it cheap and rough but it had ripped on one corner. We started out at Target and I was appalled because they didn’t have anything less than like $80.00!!! Next stop was sears where we scored the cutest kitty quilt, king size, for 40 dollars!! When you have a queen size bed you pretty much have two choices, buy your comforters either too small or too big. I rarely see a queen size comforter anywhere, they have these full/queen one’s and for two people they’re just not big enough. So I bought a king size and I still stole it all. 🙂

We also got some fun noodles and a beach ball for the pathetipool. We got Sara some stuff too, a couple new toys and a raised set of food and water bowls. She loves her new toys. We got her a huge soft baseball and a soft Homer Simpson doll which she adores! She carrys her Homer all around the house. We got her a new tie-out too. Our yard isn’t fenced and the street we live on is really dangerous but we like to be able to have her outside with us when we’re working outside and stuff. We’ve taken to tying her to a tree and giving her a couple toys and a water bowl. She usually just digs though instead of playing with the toys. She’s cute and seems okay with being tied out, she likes that better than being caged outside. We’re going to have to do something different when she gets bigger though, eventually we’ll erect a fence. 🙂

We’ve got to get rid of a rooster. Our poor hens, one of our roosters is mean. He was skittish when he was young but he’s grown up into an asshole. He’s our favorite too. 🙁 We’ll place an add, there’s usually people looking for roosters, he might do better with more hens and more territory. *sigh* We’re going to fence in our garden and stuff this week. Then after harvest we’re going to let the chickens out into the garden area to scratch around. They’ll keep the grass torn up. We can let them play out there during the months when there’s no garden, it’ll give them more space to run which will make them happy.

Oh yeah, I had this dream last night that we got another Siamese cat. I had heard meowing underneath a sewer cap and we called for help. When the animal control people arrived they were able rescue the dirty siamese cat. When they went to put it in the truck someone asked if I might want it and I said yes and took it home. It was really sweet and despite having been stuck in a sewer for her knows how long it was content to just be held.

Lets see. Well, there’s other stuff to write about but I’m going to go take care of some work for now.

Tar-zhay is quite the upscale place, you know. Maybe there really is a stray cat hanging around your house that you’re worried about–like that guy in the woods.
