Apparently I’m not used to the fact that my hair is black yet. This morning I come into work and look down and see a little black hair on my desk. “Ewww, who’s hair is on my desk”, is the first thought that crosses my mind. As I go to brush it off I think “Oh, mine…probably from when I came in to clean my fishtank on Sunday”.

I’ve had either blonde or red hair most of my life. This black hair thing has only happened in the last few months. I love having black hair despite the trouble it is to keep it this color. I’ve gotten good at not staining myself. A good trick I discovered is to cover all the skin you might get coloring on with petroleum jelly. It’s disgusting but you don’t end up with a black forehead or neck!! I spread that stuff all over my forehead, neck and ears. The weirdest part has to be washing the coloring out though. I opened my eyes after rinsing and I was standing in an inch of purplish black water. Quite disturbing. I think the tub needs some draino.

I tried that online grocery shopping thing this morning and ended up rather dissapointed. They have a lot of stuff but not most of the stuff we buy. Ugh, so I don’t think we’ll be able to use it. The other problem is apparently I didn’t get in quick enough for a tuesday delivery, they’re all sold out. The only other day they deliver in our neighborhood is Thursday and this Thursday isn’t good for us because we’re going to that Air Force band concert.

I talked to my dad the other day and he sounds REALLY excited about seeing us in October. I feel bad for him. He owns an Auto Body Shop. My grandfather opened it years ago then eventually my dad took it over. They do good business and stuff but dad just isn’t getting any business anymore. It’s been going downhill for years, people want cheap work done. He’s even tried offering some cheap packages and stuff but other places, like Maaco are killing his little family business. He’s also really frustrated because his ex-wife, my evil ex-stepmother won’t let him see his son. The court keeps ordering her to give my dad visitation rights but she comes up with excuses and keeps making my dad hire a lawyer. My dad can no longer afford to hire lawyers so he’s screwed. I hate that woman (if you can call her that). I sincerely hope something terrible happens to her. It tears me apart to know that my little brother is being raised by the same woman that spent years tearing apart my self-esteem. The kid is really bright, and instead of feeding his intelligence she’s breaking him. It’s driving me nuts. Needless to say I won’t be seeing my brother when we go to Oklahoma. I think he’s 5 now and will be 6 in September. I’m sure the ex-stepmom would refuse me any visits too, she’s got this idea in her head that I’m mentally unstable and dangerous. *laughs* If anyone is mentally unstable here it’s her, I wouldn’t say she’s dangerous unless you want to count the number of parked cars she’s hit. *chuckles*

Anyway, I’m looking forward to taking Sara to meet my mom and step-dads dog Tisha. She’s also a golden. She’s the sweetest dog too. My mom said that after hubby and I left last time she waited by the door for us to come back. She’s always really happy to see us too. She always seems to remember us. 🙂

I’m looking forward to October, there is nothing in this world like a road trip. 🙂

That reminds me, on the way in to work this morning my hubby looked over and actually saw a guy shaving while driving. How fucked up are people anyway?

We went to the mall yesterday *cringe*, I hate the mall but I wanted to look for a new NIN sticker to replace one of my old one’s. No luck, but I did find a really cool Tool sticker so I bought that instead. I got another sticker too it’s hard to describe, I should just see if I can find pics of them online. *goes to look* Found em!!

Here’s the Tool one:

And here’s the other one I bought:

There’s a really neat NIN one I found online that I’ll probably get although I dunno where I’ll put it. Maybe on the Datsun when we get it running again.

Anyway, I have a TON of work to get done today so I should get to it.

EDIT: More on the online grocery shopping. Guess we can try it afterall. I just have to learn to try new things. 🙂 *Grin* we need to eat healthier anyway, maybe not being able to buy a lot of the pre-packaged stuff we normally get will be a good thing. I actually bought some whoa, fresh fruits and veggies.

I looked at some info and have figured out that regardless of that this dizziness/tinnitus thing is, regardless of whether it’s blood pressure related or something like Meniere’s disease I need to eat better and cut the salt and caffeine. I keep saying I need to eat healthier, I’m going to give it a wholeheated try.

Your ex-stepmonster is EVIL. Good luck on the eating changes. I know it’s hard to break habits. Oh, that Tool sticker–I love it! I have a similar one on the bumper of my Celica.
