7/24/03 Part two

*bangs head on desk* Michele is going to be the death of me. I can’t even get her to commit to a meeting time, well, I got her committed to one but I had to choose the time even though I was trying to suggest a couple times for her to pick from. Conversation went something like this:

Me: Is any time today or tomorrow good for you to meet with me and (my boss).

Michele: I’m here all day today and tomorrow.

Me: How about some time this afternoon between one and three?

Michele: Got you penciled in, stop on by.

*bangs head one desk*

Me: Okay, see you at 1 then.

I meant for her to pick a time between 1pm and 3pm. Not to pencil me in for the 2 hours! UGH!!

Anyway.

Guess what?

We can buy our groceries online!

I am in heaven.

Grocery shopping is one of the things I dread. The whole experience is tiring and frustrating for me because of AS related issues. I’m usually exhausted from overload by the end of grocery shopping. Now though, all I have to do is go online, pick the groceries I want, schedule a delivery time and boom groceries at the doorstep. A co-worker of my husbands uses this and says it’s great. I’m actually surprised that the shipping isn’t insane but he says it’s not and that he’s gotten so many deals on shipping that he’s never even had to pay for it. How fucking cool is that?

We grocery shop every two weeks now so we’re going to try it next thursday.

There’s been some Office Drama this morning. Just a little while ago a co-worker bursted into tears and ran down the hallway. When she came back I heard her on the phone telling someone (I’m assuming her boss) that a body had been found in a burned up car in a parking lot, the owner of the car was someone she knew and they’re assuming the body is that of the car owner.

I can’t even imagine receiving news like that, especially at work. I feel really bad for her.
