*sigh* work work work. We shaved an hour off our workday today so HA and we’re taking a long lunch. Hubby’s group is out today except for one other guy. He doesn’t matter though, so we came in late since my boss is out too. The other guy in hubby’s group was going to be a rebel and wear jeans today since everyone was out. lol, he’s a nerd; surely one could think of something less lame than wearing jeans.

I swear though, if my boss ever runs across my OD. I am sooooo fired.

I was thinking I might get a cactus for my desk at work. I was quickly disappointed though when I went to research them. Cacti require bright natural light, which I cannot provide from my crappy cubicle so no cactus for me. I learned something else though. Cactus can sunburn just like we can. If you buy a cactus to put outside you have to acclimate it to the sun. Not very desert like eh?

I was doing some more research on Canada and so far we’ve figured out it’s easier to sell your car here and buy a new one in Canada than it is to import yours. You have to have it fitted with daytime running lights and crap if it’s 1990 or newer. Not to mention you’ll have to look at the little part of the speedometer so might as well just sell and re-buy over there. Our two old cars are exempt from everything over there though so those are easy to import. Good thing because I refuse to ever sell my Datsun. 🙂 I wouldn’t take a million dollars for that car. I also can’t figure out if I can import my bettas. It’s looking like they might require special inspections and quarantine. They’re fucking fish!???!! Like hubby said, it’s not like they’re going to jump out of the tank and bite someone. I know some people that live in Canada and they warned me when we were considering visiting for a betta show in Toronto not to try to get any bettas past the border. So if/when we move there I might have to give whatever fishies I have at the time to good betta parents from the betta message board I’m on. The easiest animals to import in to Canada are cats, dogs, and turtles with shells over four inches or turtle eggs. So I could bring a fucking turtle, but no bettas? Ugh.

Sara sucks right now. Her fucking heartworm pills give her the runs and she can’t “hold” her poo. We’ve been coming home from work to find her crate with a pile of poo in it every day and waking up in the morning to find the same. *sigh* She has big dog poo now and it stinks up the entire house. Of course her small puppy poo did too so whatever. Okay, enough about poo. Her spay has been scheduled for July 14th. 🙁 At least she’s in and out the same day. Honestly though, I almost wish they’d keep her overnight because I worry about what if she screws up her stitches or something. I’m the same way with cats, with just neutering I’m comfortable because it’s a really minor surgery, they didn’t even shave Kenny. Spays require more cutting and I fear something happening. I remember Sally licking her stitches and it drove me nutty!! I guess if she licks too much we can always just equip her with one of those funny looking lampshade collars so we won’t have to worry so much.

Well, I should really probably think about getting some work done. 🙂

Edit:

I finally quit being a ‘tard and called my doctors office. Luckily I got a good receptionist and am all set with my prescriptions. My hands are still shaking though from the experience. 🙂 But Yay, no more allergies for me. 🙂

Oh, I’m glad it worked out for your allergy meds!!!!! I don’t get the bettas thing for Canada, but who am I but a little stupid American who clearly isn’t as enlightened as the progressive Canadians . . . You DO erase your history on your work computer, do you not? Poor Sara! She can’t help it with the poo, poor thing. The Program I give my dogs gives one of ’em the runs, too. Poor thing
