*yawn*

My ass is at home today. I’m sick, yepp, sick on a Friday, could today suck any more? Sick on a Friday usually means sick on a Saturday too *pout*. It’s just a cold, the one everyone on my floor at work has had. But still, unlike them, I’m not going to work when I don’t feel good.

I guess I don’t have much to say. Weather.com is pissing me off though. They can’t get the damned weather right. The day we set up the pathetipool it looked like we’d be getting some warm weather. Then I checked again yesterday and it looked like cold weather include one night where the temperature’s hit freezing. Pathetipool isn’t supposed to be outdoors below 40 degree’s. With a sigh of defeat I planned to ride it out and hope for the best for pathetipool. I checked the weather again last night and it’s showing not freezing but once again, nice warm days, including today! If pathetipool’s water gets warmed up enough my sick ass is going to go lounge. When we added chemicals to pathetipool last night the water was still pretty damned cold.

I want a hot tub. The hotel we stayed at when we were in Maine had one. There was one night that no one was in it! So we finally got to try it out, that was fan-fucking-tastic!! It was like 40 degree’s outside but the tub was toasty warm. mmmmmm hot tub.

Maine people are crazy. The hotel also had a pool and it wasn’t getting all that warm during the day, around 60 or so. There were kids in the pool! I tested the water and it was mad cold. Of course, I’ve seen Maine people swimming in the ocean on 60 degree days too. Brrr.

I can’t wait to go to Maine, we’re going at the end of the month and I guess we’re taking Sara. I fear this turning into a catastrophe but we’ll see. We’ve decided to go to a hotel rather than camping mainly b/c we can’t leave Sara unattended even in her crate at the campground. At the hotel we can leave her crated in our room if we want to like go explore the hot tub, or go out to dinner somewhere nice. My main concern is her deciding to bark or something in the middle of the night. Luckily though, the hotel we’re going to has two buildings that allow pets, it’s made of of several buildings so hopefully they just put pet people in those two and non-pet people in the others. I think other dog people would understand a 5 month old puppy barking in the middle of the night. We’ll see. The neighbors said they’d take her if we didn’t want to take her to Maine with us.

Well, I’m going to go put the grocery list together and go back to resting.

“Pathetipool”–that cracks me up every time I read it! It’s FREEZING here right now; I can’t even imagine sitting in a pool. Supposed to get down to 34 freakin degrees tonight. BRRRRRRR!
