I’m a bit grumpy right now. The network has been down here at work for what feels like forever. I had to actually work instead of doing my normal settle in to work comic reading and OD updating. Gotta wait till the caffeine from the coffee kicks in to start actually working and all.

Ah well, I guess it’s kinda nice to have a head start on my work.

Lets see, what’s new. Hubby is done with classes until September. Woo to the hoo!! Now we can get started gardening. Woo to the hoo again. Tonight we’re going grocery shopping, no woo hoo to that and dropping off a 21 inch monitor to my hubbys dad that we picked up for him yesterday. I’m getting a free 17 inch monitor out of the deal so I’m one happy camper. I have a 17 at work and the 15 at home makes me crazy. Of course eventually we’re going to buy hubby a 19 inch flatscreen cuz his desk is really small so I’ll probably be jealous again when he gets that. 🙂 Tomorrow Sara has a vet visit. She gets her puppy number 4 shots and a lyme test. Apparently a lot of puppies have been born with Lyme around here so they’re Lyme testing all the pets. Lets all cross our fingers that our baby is Lyme free! We also get to discuss spaying Sara. I’m looking forward to getting the spay over with. Poor girl, I hate taking my pets in for surgery simply because I know they don’t understand why they have to go through it and why they hurt after. At least with a human you can explain it.

I had some weirdo dreams last night. One of them consisted of me forgetting the credit card we were supposed to use at a store. I was like SHIT and had to run home and get it. When I got home I couldn’t find the damn thing but it finally turned up under a pile of papers.

The next one was weird. One of my old friends, Crystal, was preparing to be in a play that started at midnight. I was going to go even though I was really tired.

The next one was by far the WEIRDEST of them all. Hubby and I were picked up by some guys in white coats and taken along with 2 of our cats to this, well, I guess it was the equivalent of a mental institution only you had more freedoms, you couldn’t leave though and there was a pool you could swim in with permission. (At one point though someone played a prank and poured toxic waste into the pool while this girl was swimming in it.) We were taken to this place because we were being punished for being weird and the people were going to try to make us normal. They put us in this little room and we were supposed to live there until we finished the reprogramming. We ended up living there for a long time and at the end of the dream we were old and our family was there in our little room having Thanksgiving dinner.

My unconscious mind is really weird.

And now for some pictures. 🙂

This is an unusual sight, Vicki with another one of our cats, Casper (white):

This is when they seemed to finally realize who they were sitting next to:

And if I thought Casper and Vicki together was an unusual sight then this certainly is. For anyone that doesn’t know, Vicki and our other cats don’t get along quite yet, Vicki is the newest member of our kitty family, she’s really shy but is slowly coming around. This is all our cats together in a small area for the first time. 🙂

Casper and Vicki look so cute together:

And this is a mourning dove that has nested in our weeping cherry tree. Hubby took this picture this morning. I LOVE morning doves and this little lady has a couple of eggs in her nest waiting to hatch. 🙂

Not a lot else going on. Guess I’ll go see who’s updated then get to work. 🙂

I like mourning doves, too. They don’t screech and holler like the damned starlings that have taken over my yard. And those cats look adorable!

Casper looks exactly like my kitty Tribble…only my kitty is black.
