After I finished that memories entry I kept thinking of things like my first swingset and stuff among other things. I used to cut the cats hair while my mom was sleeping. We had 8 cats when I was a kid. I also had a big white dog named Candy that used to knock me down and stand on me. I couldn’t play in the backyard. My dad gave him away and told me he’d ran away, he even took me around the neighborhood in the car to “look” for the dog. My parents lied to me a lot. I remember my mom telling me things like if I didn’t get off the escalator fast enough the part that the stairs go back into would suck you in. No wonder I was terrified of escalators. After that she had to pick me up and put me on them.

Anyway, enough memories although they are a lot of fun.

I had a lot of dreams last night. One involved trying to raise an American flag but it kept falling and almost touching the ground. I think that had to do with the Southpark I watched right before bed.

The other dream that stands out was kind of weird. I was younger in it and had stayed the night with my grandma with my three cousins. When I woke up my cousins were eating waffles. I went over to my grandma and she started making me some waffles in the toaster. When I took a close look at the waffles they were all moldy and she was buttering them before putting them in the toaster.

My grandma using moldy food isn’t really anything unusual although I don’t know why I’d dream about it. I remember asking for a peice of cheese when I was a kid and inquiring as to what the blue spots were. She said that they were mold and that they wouldn’t hurt me. I ate the cheese and didn’t get sick or anything but ewwww!

Today is bring your child to work day. I told hubby to think of an excuse for us to take the day off but he failed and didn’t use the one I offered up. Bad hubby! Anyway, I’m dreading the noise today will bring. I wouldn’t mind people bringing their kids to work once a year but the people around me bring them ALLLLL the time anyway. I also wouldn’t mind if this day was used for what it was supposed to be used for, to teach kids about the work world. But no, they just let them run around the building making noise.

This optical mouse is growing on me. I still don’t like that way it’s shaped but I like the way it clicks ever so quietly and the way the wheel moves. I didn’t like the way the old wheel felt against my finger. I also like the fact that I don’t need a mousepad, the material mousepads are made out of makes my fingers itchy. Of course, I’m weird about textures. 🙂 Now I’d kind of like to get one of these mice for home though.

*whine* Would anyone like to donate money to me? *pout* please? yeah, alright, I didn’t REALLY think it’d work. But it’s warm again and my car still doesn’t run so I had to try! Poor speedy has a blown head gasket and a cross-threaded spark plug hole. I miss speedy. 🙁 In my world there’s nothing like my shiny 280ZX with the T-tops off on a warm spring day and Cake blaring from the sterio. *sings* “And Satan is my motor, Hear my motor power”.

I’ve been really bored at work lately. I’ve had this one form sitting on my desk all week that I need to scan into Acrobat and post in our forms database. I haven’t done it though because if I do it I won’t have anything to do. At least now I can say I HAVE something to do if anyone asks! I guess I should probably get it in this morning though before the person calls and says “Ummm, yeah, did you get that form I sent last week?”

Would anyone like a golden retriever puppy?? She’s really cute!! I swear this dog is going to drive me insane. You see, I’m a dog person, not a puppy person. I like how when dogs get older they have a tendency to get lazy, they can lay still without having anything to do. Sara won’t lay still for 5 seconds without something to do. Even when she has something to do sometimes she won’t lay still. She’s got to be trying to get on the couch, biting your hand, chasing cats, chewing socks, anything but playing with the toys we bought just for her. She’s adorable though and she’s getting HUGE! Before we know it she’ll be full grown. I’m already really glad we took a lot of puppy pictures because boy has she grown!!

Well, I guess I should go see about that form now.

She is SOOOOOO pretty!!!!! And I just love the car! If your parents did the sort of stuff to you today that they did then, it would be considered abuse. Well, it WAS abuse, but back then, so much more shit was tolerated out of parents. They didn’t know any better, I suppose, but it’s common sense that if you say stuff about escalators sucking you in to your kid, she’ll be terrified.
