Well, I talked to my boss after I wrote my OD yesterday. I talked to her about Michele a bit, told her that it’s really bothering me that she keeps making me look bad when she’s at fault. My boss said she’d address that issue with Michele. At the end of the day my boss said she got a message back from Michele, who said she updated her directory at the beginning of the month but not in the middle of the month like she knew she was supposed to and that she was at home so she couldn’t update and check (which isn’t true, you can update remotely, but whatever, she’s a moron). But I think she might straighten up, at least for a day or two until she forgets again.

It looks like we might be moving all around on my floor again. My boss will probably fight it but I hope we get to move, I have my cubicle and I hate my location. I’m right at an intersection and I have to deal with people standing right outside my box talking loudly. It’s horrible, especially when I’m trying to talk to a user on the phone. I have almost stood up before, held the phone up and yelled “EXCUSE ME”. But so far I haven’t been pushed that far, damn….close….though. I can usually forget about my shyness when I’m pushed far enough that I become really angry. Anyone rude enough to stand outside someone’s cubicle and laugh and talk loudly deserves to be yelled at.

I also found out yesterday that I’m getting a laptop! Yay! I asked my boss if I could have one when she mentioned getting us new computers at the beginning of the year. I work from home a lot and stuff. Right now I have the best computer so instead of a brand new one I’m getting my boss’s laptop which is comperable to the machine I have now. Her and my co-worker are getting brand new machine’s. Next year I’ll get a new computer and b/c the warranty runs out on the laptop next year the company will sell it and since I’ll have been the one using it I’ll have first dibs on buying it. So even if I end up with a desktop machine next year I’ll have earned myself a cheap laptop. It’ll be sooooo much easier to work from home that way, not to mention I can uninstall all my work software on my personal computer at home.

Sara is a bundle of energy!!! Man is she insane!! She seems to have taken to barking when she needs to go to the bathroom now. I think she’s able to hold it better now and she’s really trying hard. We’re going to go home for lunch today and check on her, see if she was able to hold it for 4 hours. She seems to be potty trained, she knows what to do, she just can’t always hold it as long as we need her to. She also still pee’s when excited but that’s another story, kinda like a kid wetting the bed, it’s not intentional. I’m kind of glad she’s doing the barking when she needs to go out instead of scratching on the back door. It doesn’t really matter right now b/c the door is scratched up from Kellys dogs but when we replace it we’d rather it not get scratched up again. We decided now would be better than later to get a puppy b/c the house isn’t finished entirely like we want it so anything Sara could screw up is probably something we’re replacing anyway. This dog is insane, she gets so wound up and is hillarious to watch. She’ll grab her toys and shake her head and growl and tear-ass around the room, stop, grab another toy and repeat. She also chews through dog bones faster than we can buy them. We gave up on the puppy sized bones, she can eat those in a matter of minutes. We’ve started buying her the big dog bones, she managed to work through 2 thirds of one of those (intended for a dog 100 lbs or more) in literally 1 HOUR!! She’s a hell of a chewer. If she gets her mouth on it, it’s gone.

Ah well, not much else going on. I should probably find myself a CD to listen to and get to work.
