So, hubby went back to work today. It’s weird not having him here after having him here for a week. I’m settling back in slowly. I had kind of a slacker day. I made a new single player character for Neverwinter and played for a couple of hours. Then I cleaned the bathtub and took a shower. I went through my boxes in the closet here in the office and threw out some stuff. Now here I sit. Pretty soon I have to go downstairs, do some dishes and get dinner going.

My mom wrote last night. Lots of stuff going on there apparently. The most amusing thing though had to do with her kitchen. She sent me pictures of her kitchen, she re-did it a little. I can’t say that I really agree with her taste but I’m glad she likes it. Anyway, they laid down some of that laminate flooring, which looks nice. It’s funny though, their golden retriever (Tisha), won’t walk on it because it’s too slick! She has the same problem with the tile they laid in the entry-way. It’s hillarious, they had the tile down last time we were there and if you throw a toy for Tisha and it happens to land on the tile she’ll just stop by the edge of the carpet and stare pathetically at it until you get it for her. Apparently their cat (Melvin) can’t jump from the laminate flooring to the counters either because the floor is too slick.

I’m trying to figure out when I’m going to go to Oklahoma again. I was originally thinking about going in June or July but I’m realizing that the summer schedule of the band I’m is too intense during the summer. We’re performing in ten concerts this year, we’ve only done one so far. I recently found out that we’re apparently going to be playing at the Grand Opening of an LL Bean store that’s opening up here. That should be pretty cool.

In other news Hubby called our insurance this morning. They’re going to review our claims, which can take like 30 days. He also called the Physical Therapy people and they said they’ve had several complaints about the exact same thing. So we’re not the only ones and they’re going to be talking to the insurance company too. They’re letting hubby continue going and letting him just pay the co-pay. Hopefully this will get straightened out soon. My only fear is that it won’t straighten out and we’ll owe them even more money. What can you do though, right?

Anyway, I should go for now. I’m going to try to update more often. I have a hard time thinking of what to write when nothing is really going on. It’s easier to write when there’s drama, y’know? My day to day life seems boring, but we’ll see. 🙂
