Well, I stayed home from work again today. There’s just like no work for me to do at work so it’s pointless for me to be there. There was/is plenty for me to do at home so staying here sounded like a good idea. Right now I’ve got some brownies in the oven. 😉

Hubby got a ride to work today so I could have the car to go grocery shopping. That was quite the experience. I HATE grocery stores, they make me very uncomfortable. It seems like everything I want to buy is the same thing everyone else wants to buy, the big cart is awkward to move around and I always feel ‘in the way’. And it never fails that the checkout people have to start up a conversation which I’m not good at continuing.

I survived groceries and decided to go wash the car. I get to the car wash and discover I can’t use quarters or get change for my 20. The stupid machine only takes dollar coins or 1 and 5 dollar bills. I considered going to the gas station across the street but last time I pulled out a 20 there to buy something inexpensive the lady huffed and bitched at me for not having smaller bills. So instead I went back home with a dirty car.

I finished up the dishes and whipped up some brownies. I’ve never made brownies from scratch before so I hope they turn out!! I found a really simple lasagna recipe that I’m going to whip up for dinner. But for now I’m going to pet Vicki, she keeps pawing at my hands. 🙂 Then I’m going to go wash some eggs. 🙂
