We saw the Lord of the Rings. It was, of course, wonderful!! It was almost sad to see it finally come to a close, but there is talk of this same director doing The Hobbit. I truly hope he does. When I first heard someone was taking the Lord of the Rings and making it into a movie I thought “well, he’d better not fuck it up”. Those books are timeless, and far too often things of this sort are taken and ruined, dumbed down for the sake of “entertainment”. I am glad to see he took the time to make each book into a full length movie and the effort put into it by crew and cast was tremendous. The special effects were good, not too cheesy and it just turned out wonderfully. You can bet your ass I’ll have my hands on the box set of the whole entire thing plus special features when it comes out. 🙂

We went grocery shopping at 7:30 this morning. The grocery store is great that time of day, I wish I never had to work!! There were very few people in the store and when it came time to check out there was absolutely no wait!

Tomorrow we’re getting Sara groomed. 3-4 hours they said it takes!!!! She looks just horrible though, she’s got tufts of hair sticking out between her toes, her ears are shaggy and her back, lol, the hair on her back is far too long. It sticks up and out, she looks like I do first thing in the morning. 🙂 And she smells, goldens, being water dogs, have very oily coats and it doesn’t smell too nice. We wash her every couple of weeks but now when we wash her it just makes the hair on her back stand up even worse, doesn’t matter if we brush it, she’ll just lay down and mess it all up again!

Nothing else really going on here. Leftovers for dinner and more Neverwinter to be played!

I remember when my sister used to bathe her cocker spaniel/ australian shepherd mix. The cutie would then run away and roll around in the grass. Made me laugh.

I desperately want to see the movie, but have yet to find someone with the time to go with me. I love the look of your diary. Very classy.
