*jumps up and down* We got allllll the windows installed. Okay, well, there’s still one in the basement that hubby can’t get to but it’s not visible from the road so it’s not super important.

Our crazy asses went out in the snow today to look for a new toilet. We went to Lowe’s, found a toilet that we just fell in love with, but they were out of it and not planning to stock any more of them!!!! The guy at Lowe’s called another Lowe’s and the other one supposedly had 6 tanks and 3 bowls left in stock so we went out there and discovered that nope, there was only 1 tank and 1 bowl left! So we got the last one! It’s going to go perfectly with the claw footed, slipper style bathtub we’ve been looking at. The bathroom makeover is our next big project. We’re going to bring it out of the 1970’s and back into the time period it belongs in with the rest of the house. Old fashioned, but elegant. It’s not really going to fit with the “farmhouse” thing but it’ll be unbelievably cozy, the kind of bathroom where you want to spend an eternity in a bubblebath surrounded by candles. *grins* I’m so excited!!

We also went to Staples where I got a leather notepad cover thingy and a space pen, it supposedly writes underwater, in freezing temperature’s -30 degree’s, boiling temperatures and even over grease! I’ve yet to find out if what it claims is true but I do know it’s spiffy and silver and that’s really all I wanted to begin with. 🙂

I have to quit spending money now. Next weekend we’re going to try to be good and hang out at the house and do some cleaning. Hubby has to clean the basement so the people that are going to be installing our central air can like, work down there. It’s our giant junk collection room. We throw everything we can’t fit into the trash down the basement stairs, so we end up with a huge pile of cardboard and whatnot down there. We’re incredibly lazy. 🙂

Anyway, dinner should be done baking soon. Mexican Beef (Boca) and bean cassarole. Yummy!! 🙂

FOund you on random…your bathroom sounds cool. I personally am not into the home improvement yet since I only in my dinky college apartment. However, some of my other friends are junkies, they’d rather watch TLC and HGTV than the real world!
