Well, I’m feeling much better. I’m still stuffy but otherwise alright, I seem to get over stuff really fast when I just be good and stay my butt in bed when I feel sick.

We got our cable internet installed today. Didn’t take all that long for the cable guy to hook it up although his appearance scared the hell out of our cat Kenny. He just looked like a typical guy and everything but he had all these tool belts and stuff hanging off him plus he was wearing shoes with that papery stuff covering them like they use in hospitals. Kenny could not get out of this office fast enough when he saw that guy coming in.

It took hubby a good 3 hours to actually get our connection working, after screwing around with it he called tech support who informed him that the registration server was having problems. Well, at least it wasn’t us with the problem right? He finally got it working and it tested out to actually be slower than our DSL but web-pages and stuff load way faster and our upload speed is awesome. So yay, our webcams will be way faster not to mention we’ll have a static IP address so I can actually leave the webcam running and the same link will work all the time, before, it changed all the time and that sucked nuts. 🙂

I’m so worthless, I swear. I went out to the post office today and I tell you what It’s really weird being behind the wheel of a car. Since I started having the panic attacks after my accident I haven’t really driven much especially since coming to CT where people drive like crazed fools. I feel like a new driver all over again, “Whoa, gotta hit the brakes faster” stupid stuff like that. I used to be the excellent driver that even the over protective parents would let their kids ride around with. But now, pffft, I just have to drive more, I think I’m mostly over the panic attacks, I don’t have them anymore unless something literally almost nails me. Much improved over cringing and crying over every fast stop. I just feel retarded sometimes when I won’t go out because hubby is busy and can’t go with me.

We watched a show on I think it was Discovery last night. Very interesting, it was about Savants. Apparently some scientist guy in Australia (I’m horrible with names) thinks he can deactivate a part of your brain to unlock the Savant ability in all of us. Is that really a good idea though? Using magnets to deactivate part of your brain? Sounds a little dangerous to me. Anyhow, were it possible I’d love to find out what my ability would be, I should hope music. Maybe I’d actually be able to improvise when I play jazz sax. 🙂 Of course I’d love to be able to draw, I can’t draw for shit. I can draw stick people one dimensional houses but that’s about the extent of it.

We don’t watch much for TV unless it’s those educational channels. I’ll occasionally watch Jerry Springer just to remind me how happy I am to not have a completely dysfunctional family. Other than the educational channels we watch BBC, Southpark on Comedy Central and Daria on *cringe* the N. Of course all the Daria episodes have been nogginized and that sucks. I love Daria, if there’s a cartoon characted with AS traits it’s her. 🙂 And southpark, hey, nothing’s better than the way they tear shit apart in a funny way. Of course hubby never fails to bore me to sleep with his war documentaries and documentaries on the romans and blah blah, some of it’s interesting and I’ve learned more from him than I ever did in high school but *yawn* it reminds of of high school sometimes.

Hubby converted all my WAV files to MP3’s the other day so now I just have to get them off his computer and I can put some up on the internet.

Well, I think I’m going to go grab a book and retire to a warm bath while hubby finishes catching up on his work. I’m bored out of my mind. 🙂
