Hubby got 2 more windows installed last night. We have 9 done and 10 to go. I’ll be so glad to have the house completely done. I never would have pictured myself buying a house that needed so much work. Before I met my hubby I really never planned to marry, I figured if it happened it happened, if not I would have been happy single too. I pictured myself in an apartment in the city with high ceilings, polished hardwood floors covered partly by funky rugs and of course, very modern furniture. *grins* This old homestead with more country feeling furnishings is nothing like I ever imagined. It’s fun though, our house means a lot to hubby, and I’m slipping my taste for more elegant things into the future plans wherever I can. 🙂

You know what doesn’t go well with my love for cats? Well, besides my allergies. My love for black clothing. I have been picking cat hairs off myself all morning!!

Had another meeting with my new boss and my old boss yesterday. New boss really doesn’t know what I do, it’s really weird. I’ve never had a manager that was utterly clueless. Good thing is I can tell him what I want and need and I get it, no questions. It’s kind of cool, him being clueless can be frustrating though because it means I have to do a lot of talking and explaining, and even presenting at meetings. My current task is coming up with a written presentation of our plan for our electronic manuals by Monday that we can present to the manual owners, and they can yay it or nay it. New boss is also a little overly social, he even said yesterday that he’d have to stop down to my cubicle once in awhile to visit so I don’t get lonely. Thing is, I don’t really get lonely at work so it’d really be quite alright if his happy ass stayed upstairs. But of course, I did the polite thing and said “Sure, anytime”. I don’t mind if people around me want to visit, actually I rather enjoy the break from the monotony of my day but mr. boss man really doesn’t need to make a special trip from 10 to 7 just to pop in and say hi. Seeing him at our 9am status meetings on Monday will be quite enough thank you.

Anyway, I should probably go.
