Current Mood: Sleepy
Current Music: Hubby’s Neverwinter music. 🙂
We drove out to Canton, CT today to look at pool tables. We saw some gorgeous tables. We’re thinking about a mission style table in maple with light blue felt. *daydreams* We have to talk to hubbys dad about the flooding in the basement, see what we can do to get that taken care of then we can finish the room and insert pool table. 🙂 On the way back from the warehouse we stopped in at a Strawberries to look at cd’s and ended up leaving with a $40.00 DVD player, lol. We already have a Sony DVD player downstairs but we thought this cheap one would be good to go with our 13 inch tv upstairs. There is nothing worse than being sick, wanting to be in bed and not having anything to watch movies with!! I get so frustrated because daytime TV SUCKS hardcore and I always want to watch my southpark DVD’s or the Wizard of Oz, anything to end the boredom of staring at the ceiling. I usually just watch Animal Planet all day when I’m sick. What sucks though is that if you’re home for say, a full week sick, by the end of the week Animal Planet is playing nothing but re-runs. It’s getting to be that time of year, I usually get a lovely Bronchitis/Sinusitis combo once a year between December and March. That’s about the only thing I ever get that makes me sick enough to need to be in bed for a full week at least. It’s also great that DVD players play CD’s, sometimes we like to put on music and stuff when we go to bed. I have an AIWA cd radio/tape deck/cd player thing but the damn cd player part of it went out. Peice of shit. For awhile if you whacked it just right when you hit play it’d play, but now nothing. *shrugs*
After we got home we took care of Sara and went to the pool hall. I LOVE my new cue stick. It’s perfect. I love the way it feels, the way it’s weighted, everything about it. I couldn’t be happier.
When I got the mail today I saw we had something from our home insurance. Hmm, a change in our home insurance it said, my first thought was “great, how much is THIS going to cost me.” But then I saw that our home equity loan people had just added themselves as an “interested party” to our home insurance, no change in premium. Our insurance is down from last year and it would be my preference to keep it that way.
Ewww stink bug!!! must run and hide!!!!!
Okay, hubby got it, it was on the ceiling RIGHT above my head, keep in mind we have slanted ceilings so that’s quite a bit closer than you might think. Ick, I hate BUGS. I’ve never lived with so many bugs in my life. There’s a lot more bugs in CT than there are in Oklahoma, or maybe it’s just my location, I live around too many damned tree’s now. In Tulsa I lived around cement. Bugs like tree’s and grass and all that naturey shit.
Anywho, I’m going to go take a shower and try to wake myself up, I’m sleepy and it’s only 7:45, pathetic.
I’m at school, I *am* sick, and I’ve spent all day watching Food Network, Animal Planet, and TLC. Yay Trading Spaces! 😉
