I’m actually awake this morning. I woke up on my own and everything. I let the kittens out and meandered into the bathroom to get ready, put Cake’s “Motorcade of Generosity” in the CD player and got ready. I was awake enough to actually care about my makeup, lol, normally my groggy ass just smears some of this stuff over here and some of that stuff over there. Slather crap in my hair, brush and go. I actually look kinda sorta decent today.

*shrugs*

We went grocery shopping last night. I’m making vegetarian chili this weekend *does little dance*. I was originally going to try Pasta E Fagioli with meat substitute but I’ll be damned if I can’t find the recipe!! I’ll have to try and find it in time for next weekend because that’s some good stuff.

I hope we hear from the loan guy today. I’m really itchin to get this done. Heh, I’m more excited about this than I was the first mortgage. All the first mortgage meant was that the house was in our name, this time it means freedom from things like the truck that was repo’d 3 years ago. We’re still paying the difference of what was owed and what they got for it at auction. Things like that, they just totally suck.

I’ve been waiting to tell my dad about it until we have a closing date. Simply because shit happens, I don’t want to tell him and then have to say, oh nevermind. I know he’ll be really happy, he really wants to see us get out of debt and he really wants to see me go to college. When I told him I was planning to go to college, and what for, he said “I always hoped you would”. He’s always said he wants to see me do better than him and my mom did. We definitely are. One thing that really makes me happy now is that I don’t NEED to go to college, I don’t need to hurry up and get a degree so I can make a large income. I can go to college because I want to and I can study at my own pace. I’m very happy everything is coming together so well.

So, we have three kittens left, they’re 11 weeks old today and we have no interested people. It’s starting to look like we might end up keeping three kittens. *shrugs* I could run an add in the paper or something but I don’t entirely trust that so I’m not going to. I keep hoping that one woman that came out will change her mind and call back.

Anyway, I’m out of stuff to say so I’m going to get to work.

I have a great recipe for vegetarian chili No, never mind. Hubby would hate it. It’s full of onions and hot peppers. LOL!
