We went to the leash cutting ceremony on Saturday. I have pictures but they’re not ready to post yet. The new Dog Park is great, Sara seemed to enjoy her time there. She didn’t really play with any of the other dogs, she doesn’t really like being around other dogs much. We tried to socialize her as a pup, we really did, she never really wanted anything to do with other pups though, she’s always been more of a people dog. She said hi to nearly every person she got within a foot of but she ignored every dog. 🙂

Sunday hubby and I made a homemade pumpkin pie. Every fall we make a few out of fresh sugar pumpkins. It’s a lot of work but they’re so tasty, plus hubby and I enjoy cooking together.

Yesterday morning hubby started feeling ill. Then by the afternoon, not long after we finished the pie I started feeling ill too. I guess it’s just a cold, hubby has sinus junk and general fatigue. Yesterday I had a sore throat and fatigue. Today I have some sinus junk but am mostly just incredibly fatigued. I feel somewhat better though. Staying in bed helps. I’ve been watching TV and knitting. I finished hubbys scarf and started on a hat. I have one more scarf to make and then I’ve decided to undertake an afghan. A dark purple and black afghan which I’ll put on the back of the couch. I’ve never done one before and wasn’t sure really how to go about it today or what design to use. I came up with an idea today and I’ll set to work on it in a couple of weeks. 🙂

Anyway, for now I think it’s time to get back to bed. I’ll try to post the pictures tomorrow. 🙂
