week 2 camp pics

I was about to flip a switch today! As soon as professor child came into camp today he immediately went into a spiel about goblins, nymphs and fairies. He tends to lose himself when speaking about something he is into. I could follow all of nothing of what he was trying to say and it was because he began circling and pacing around me as he spoke. I thought for sure he was going to start to rub up against my leg like a damn cat because thats what he looked as he paced back and forth .And you know how I feel about cats rubbing against my legs. It drives me up the wall.  He was speaking so fast he barley had time to breathe and as If I attempted to move, he moved right along with me. By the end of his magical spiel, the only thing I took away was that the wood nymphs looked scary and that pixies and fairies had an aversion to iron. Needless to say, I needed a few minutes to myself afterward to cool down a bit…or perhaps just to collect my bearings. It was an overwhelming 10 minutes. Not the best way to start a day!

anyway…I just wanted to share  more camp photos. These are from when we took the kids to the fairy meadow…aka, the feild behind campus.

Thats Arno. He was the only boy willing to be a fairy, knight and dragon. He was also the only boy who wanted nail polish, which I thought was super awesome. He is a cool kid! He is to darn cute! The other day as he was talking about camp he said " This is the best day I ever met!" He melts my heart. He dressed up in a knight costume last week and I had to take a picture. He looked so dear! I told him to make his best knight face and you know what he did? He closed his eyes. haha. When I asked him why he closed his eyes he said " well, knights only come out at night, so it had to be dark." lol.  He is too clever. I wish I had the picture to show, but its stuck on my other slow as a snail laptop!

…Fairy trees?? Really I just thought they looked nice with the sun shining through. Or it was the magic pixie dust shining through Im not sure though, you would have to ask the fairies. They know their stuff!

…Arno is just being Arno here!……The other day he was pretending to make me a snack, he was putting his cooking skilsl on display I suppose…..he made me something he called sweet cheese. Haha, dosen’t sound to appatising, but if Arno makes it, it has to be good.  

Tomorrow we are taking the kids on a field trip to see Brave. I saw it already. I liked it, but Im afraid some of the kids will be a little scared. The bad bear is vicious. It makes me wonder what happened to the Disney I used to know!
