more stuff to see

A few more from camp…

.Gathered around the longhouse fire.

….She went by the name of Brown Deer. She was the big sister of the Native Amrican Family

…Her name was Spirit. A wild pony but a cheif for this picture!

…She was Eetsa, the mom. She enjoyed her role a little too much! haha

..Professor Child, aka Wing Feather trying to disguise himself in the dense vegitation of the parking lot….ummmm…nice try. Wing feather was a little brother.

…He was Two Hawks, a friend from another tribe that didn’t speak the Nez Perce language…and……shhhhh…look closely, a predator is approaching, its Mickey Green of the enemy Nissan Tribe. He disguised himself in a hideous green to blend in with the parking lot forest. Don’t worry, Two Hawks scared him away with that intense glare!

…a veiw of our longhouse. Or an attempt at a longhouse. This house frame thing has been just about everything you can imagine. A fairy house, a castle, a forge, a shrine on Mt. Olympus…its the best thing ever. The kids adore makeing this house into dofferen’t things!

…as Blondie poses in the horse coral, Professor Child ponders the universe. I was going to crop him out but it he makes me laugh too much. Ha does anybody remember the episode of Full House where they cgo to summer camp and Steve tells the story of The Cropsy Maniac?? Haha. My life clearly revolves around Full House. Croping made me think of the Cropsy Maniac. This is how my mind works. Like the wild rocking horse in the background? Nice, I know! He was previously a fairy horse. Then he became Crazy Horse. I had this rocking horse ever since I was a little girl. The thing is so ratty, the hair looks like a nest, but the kids like him! I don’t want the thing back Im sicking him on camp!!

…I include this blurry photo because its a funny shot. One, because the two kids lying behind Professor Wing feather look as if they have formed one long body, two, because obviously… Wing Feather, three, the little girl in the zigzag top who played the role of Toe-Ta, the tribe family’s father (she really wanted that role for some reason) looks rather perplexed! The little girls were pretending to be sick and Wing Feather was bringing them the eagle feather in attempts to heal them. I guess he was no medicine man because they claimed that the eagle feather didn’t heal them.

…she played Sparrow, the little sister and twin to Wing Feather. haha. She adored her feathers at the end of her braids, and managed to keep them in for about three days….afterall, she is a bird!

…she was Raven (but not of the Baltimore variety) She was a horse tamer.

Im sad camp is over!!!! 🙁

Later that night……..

….

I went shopping at home and bought………

…………

….

…..my damn cat!

He was on sale for $1.00 in the bargain isle.

I like carrying his ass in bags. And he just likes bags, as long as they don’t make too much noise.

I hope this isn’t a glance into my future. I don’t want to be a crazy lady who totes her cat along the streets in reusable grocery bags, while sucking on sugar free hard candies, and wearing a knitted cardigan with a snowman broach attached to it!

Shit, I just jinxed myself didn’t I?

Well, as long as I am happy doing it then!

Remember the quote from The Goofy Movie…"how many cups of sugar does it take to get to the moon?" and "more hi dad soup please!" Ha. I have that stuck in my head!
