Sunday again
After taking my bath and washing my hair this morning I did a small amount of laundry. Mainly my towels. Doing my best to keep a normal routine. I think right now that is important.
Maeve is so jealous of the other two. If I play or just pay attention to them she is there crying and barking wanting my attention. Again she laid on me quietly soaking up my love for about an hour as we watched TV. The other two are rescue seniors and more independent.
Didn’t really watch any new movies today. Singing in the rain was on, but having watched it yesterday I passed today. If it was Doris Day instead of Debbie Reynolds I think I would like it more. Julie with Day is coming on TCM Tuesday and I have it set to record in case I forget. Watching Commando with Arnold Schwarzenegger again right now. Can’t believe the little girl is Alyssa Milano.
Wrote my erasure poem today and it was difficult. Didn’t enjoy it at all. I used my first page of the screenplay I wrote last semester called The Boys Club. It’s about my second year at buckeye when I had a class of 20 juniors and only 3 were girls. Not remembering all of them because it was so long ago, the main characters were based on the other year when I had mostly boys and most of the starting lineup of the football team in one class. Todd Frew and Frankie Lugo, RIP, were two. Anyway it was about their antics. The poem is horrible and makes no sense, but it is done. Not even sure what the point of writing one is for.
Watched a 1993 movie the other night called The Vanishing with Jeff Bridges, Kiefer Sutherland and Sandra Bullock. Find out today it is a remake of a 1988 French movie with the same name playing on TCM. Now I need to watch the original.
On the advice of a dear friend, thank you Cheryl Roberts , I took a virtual tour of Ireland today and read about her castles. Fascinating. Tomorrow I will take another tour and then move on to England, Germany, Australia, etc. Kept me busy and history fascinates me.
On Wednesday I will get my SSI and will venture out to the grocery store again. Not sure what time it will hit my account, so I may have to wait until Thursday at 6am. Need to get soda and yogurt. Probably less people on Thursday since the new ads come out Wednesday.
Well I best close. Be safe hugs
A friend whom I told that, for the first time in my life I’d woken up and momentarily forgotten what day it was, suggested I force myself into some kind of routine. So, I took to my Google calendar and planned a few things for each day of this coming week. Most of them are meaningless but I’m sure they’ll add meaning to my days, if that makes any sense.
Share your poem! I’m sure it’s not the horrible thing you say it is. And post pictures of your dogs! 🙂
How do you take virtual tours? Does it cost?
@thenerve virtualvisittours.com I just did a Google search of virtual tours of Ireland castles. It was free.
@irishbudgie1954 – OOOOMG I’m so biting on that 🙂

I think you should share the poem, too. Love all the old movies you’ve been watching! Setting a schedule or putting some tasks on a calendar is definitely a great way to stay grounded in reality!

Thursday is my shopping day too. Â I have a list started. Â Last week I bought a huge amount so I hope I can get by with less this week.
I like seeing different versions of the same movie. The French are usually better? Or thought to be better anyway.  Remember ‘Three Men and a Baby’? That was French before the American version.  And ‘Breathless’ with Richard Gere and the girl with the natural eyebrows? I quit plucking mine after that movie.
I was glad to see your friend request this morning. Â I hope you have a happy day.
