Hump day
Well, it is Wednesday again. Went to the grocery store at 6AM and got everything I went for so I was happy. The cashier told me things are getting back to normal. People aren’t hoarding.
Came home got in jammies and watched movies and did laundry. At 6PM I got dressed and headed for the drive by party for my best friend Jeremy and his husband. They adopted 2 little boys today. They had to cancel their party and Disneyland because of this pandemic. On Facebook they first posted pictures of the ceremony which was done by phone. Then they posted a video. In the video were pictures of his deceased parents. His mother just recently passed. He wanted them to be a part of the ceremony. He cried, I cried. Those boys are soooooo lucky. They actually foster 2 other little boys which they are trying to adopt also. I took 3 activity books I got on Amazon for the boys. One was science experiments, one activity and one coloring with jokes. Got to talk to Jeremy and he began to cry again. We told each other we loved each other after he asked me how I was holding up and I came home and got back in my jammies.
Now I am back to watching movies. Oh, when I was leaving for the party my neighbors were leaving AGAIN. I adore their little girl and give her cards and little gifts for holidays. She said hello to me, but not her parents. Didn’t even get a mention for the Easter card, books and nutcracker. Oh, well.
Better close. Everyone be safe hugs
Be safe my friend!

How old are these children? And stay safe
@jaythesmartone the 2 they adopted are 5 and 6. The 2 they are fostering are about the same. The 2 they are fostering they have had longer ironically. They have had them for almost 3 years. The 2 they adopted are brothers and the 2 they are fostering are half brothers. One father is involved and that is why they haven’t been able to adopt yet

I love the drive by party stories that have come from this virus. It’s heartwarming to see ways people are able to support and celebrate each other. Congratulations to your friend and his growing family!
Any good movies lately?
@mndbrk Gorillas in the mist, a star is born with Judy Garland, back to the future. Watched all today lol
@irishbudgie1954 Is the Judy Garland movie the original of the recent A Star Is Born, or do they just have the same title? I watched Back to the Future for the FIRST TIME this past summer with C. He is amazed by how few “classics” I’ve seen, and it’s fun watching them together.
@mndbrk actually the Judy Garland version is the second one made. The first one was in the 30s. Then Garland’s in 1954. Then Streisand in 70s, then lady gaga. They are all similar but different. Garland’s male character is an actor not a singer. In my opinion it is the best version.
@irishbudgie1954 Looks like I’ve got some movies to watch!
