Ekphrastic poem

Raiders

Brown fedora on my head

Whip in outstretched hand

My feet are not made of lead

As I protect all the land

Looking for a priceless artifact

In the middle of the desert

I am not known for my tact

But I love looking for the treasure

Gun strapped around my hips

Bag wrapped around my body

Beautiful smile upon my lips

I am looking not too shoddy

With artifact in hand and happy

I win the girl and save the land

Trying real hard not to be sappy

I love my life to beat the band.
