Woof?

Bean has a new trick. Well, it isn’t a trick per se, since I didn’t teach it to her. I discovered it by accident. She really really likes to play fetch.

She’ll be batting something around-a ball of paper, bottlecap and most recently, the lid from a pringles can- and then she will bring it over to where I am sitting on the bed. First, I was just trying to get her away from the laptop, but everytime I threw the toy out of the way, she’d bring it right back.

It’s really cute. I throw the toy, she chases it, “kills” it, and brings it back to me. Lather rinse repeat, until she’s worn out. Maybe she thinks she’s a dog? Actually, I have heard of other cats that like to play fetch like that, but I had never really seen it.

In other news, today will be boring, but I am documenting it in pictures, so “a day in the life of Liz” will be coming soon to an Open Diary near you.

Yay! I love a day in the life entries. I think it’ll be great. It’s really cute that she plays fetch like that. Neither dog will play it, and the cats won’t either.

PC Kitty was a fetcher, as is Salem. 🙂 I thought it was something unique to my cat too. But now I know it’s just something some cats do. Look at me, bursting your happy bubble. I’m sorry. I could delete the above note, but I won’t.

My cat does the same exact thing.

that’s cute! Pumpkin won’t play fetch. I’ve come to terms with the fact that she’s just a true staffy and no retrieving will be done! lol.

i can’t believe rachel’s last entry. how she can be married to someone who refuses to work a steady job and have a steady income is beyond me.
