Hallelujah, Praise The Lord!

I PASSED BOTH SECTIONS OF THE GACE TESTING! I CAN BE A CERTIFIED GEORGIA EDUCATOR!

Wow. I was really scared that I would not pass one or both of those tests. They were challenging and comprehensive. There were no study materials available. I have no real way to prepare, as this was the very first time that this test had been administered. In a way, I am even more proud of passing because of that fact. I went into that test center cold. I had not been in the classroom doing daily grammar practice and analyzing a poem a day. I had not been taking practice tests from a study book. I didn’t have any vocabulary flash cards or writing exemplars to study. I went into that test cold, and I drew on what I knew and the shills that I had in my head. There wasn’t anything crammed into my short term memory to draw from. I really, honestly, know how to do that stuff.

I’m pretty proud of that. Go me!
